The Liverpool-Newcastle game...

Firstly, good to see Kuyt get off the mark.
Secondly, more nonsense from Alonso!

Too many instances where no one was exploiting the available space on the flanks. With Gerrard and Garcia continuously drifting inside, it was too narrow for Liverpool. That's probably why Kuyt managed to score actually, because Newcastle ended up leaving space on the left. Finnan suddenly arriving was like a surprise to them... Of course, the killer Alonso pass did help.

Our defense still ain't the best. whether it's Agger and Carragher misunderstandings, or Aurelio being more of an attacking defender... Reina still fumbled in the match, if you noticed.

We still have a lot to do, but gaining back confidence helps. A lot. Here's to the 1st CS of our EPL season..!
